2 still warded after Christmas Day crash

TWO victims of a Christmas morning accident are still warded in stable condition at the the San Fernando General Hospital (SFGH). Burton Gray and Callistra Baptiste who were occupants of the same vehicle suffered fractured hands, legs as well as other injuries to the chest and face in the accident which occurred around 2 am on Bucket Road, Rio Claro. Naresh Williams was also a passenger in the car. According to reports Gray was driving his B-13 Sentra motor car into a southerly direction when his vehicle collided with a twin cab Mitsubishi van travelling in the opposite direction. The van was driven by Richard Lalla. 

They were all taken to the Mayaro District Hospital by EHS Services. Lalla and Williams were treated and discharged with just scratches and abrasions about the face and body but Gray and Baptiste had to be transferred to the SFGH for further treatment. Gray and Baptiste are reported to be in stable condition. All four accident victims are between the ages of 21 and 30. Ag Cpl Girdharie of the Rio Claro Police Station is conducting investigations.
