Maloney man shot while watching television at home

A 33-year-old Maloney man was attacked at his home while looking at television early Sunday morning. Police reports state that Brian Brown of Building 16 in Maloney Gardens was sitting in his living room looking at television shortly after 12 am when two men, one armed with a shot gun, walked up to his burglar proofing gate and fired four shots at him. Brown reportedly scampered to safety in another room at his home, while his attackers ran off. Brown is said to have felt a burning sensation and upon checking, he realised he had been grazed on his forehead by one of the bullets. Brown was rushed to the Arima Health Facility where he was treated for his injuries and discharged. Officers attached to the Maloney Police Post, who visited the scene of the incident said they have certain information, and arrests will be made soon. Cpl Augustine and Constable Nicholas of the Maloney Police Post are continuing investigations.
