Brothers shot in Morvant

The shooting spree continues as two Morvant men were shot while liming near their home on Tuesday night. Reports state that the victims, who are brothers, were liming at La Pomme Road, Morvant, when at about 10.30 pm, some men came out from some bushes and started shooting at the group of men.

All the limers attempted to flee the scene, however the brothers, David and Rocky John, were both shot in the melee.  According to police reports, David was shot in the shoulder and his brother Rocky was shot in the buttocks. Both men were rushed to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital, where they remain warded in a satisfactory condition. Motives for the shooting incident remain unknown by police officers. Constable Walker of the Morvant Police Station is continuing investigations.
