Despers warms up for Carnival 2004

Ten-time Panorama champions, Witco Desperadoes Steel Orchestra, has invited returning players and new players to register at the pan yard for the 2004 season.

Registration takes place tomorrow from 10 am to 4 pm. Resident arranger Clive Bradley has short-listed a number of Calypso possibilities for the band and will make his final choice this weekend. Bradley has been working on selecting the Panorama tune over the last few weeks and intends to deliver another victory for Desperadoes in 2004.

Band manager, Finbar Fletcher said, “Practice starts from Monday January 5 and there’s no holding us back this year.” Desperadoes recently captured the title of Republic Pan Fiesta Champions at the inaugural competition hosted by Pan Trinbago in October, 2003.
