Bandits stage daring robbery at gas station

Two men posing as customers yesterday robbed two gas station employees of a bag containing $10,890. Reports revealed that around 9.45 am, Michelle Watkins and Annette John, employees of Christopher Gas Station on Wrightson Road, were carrying out duties when a man asked to purchase a tin of brake fluid. While John was waiting to be paid, a gunman entered and pointed a gun at the two employees. The gunman demanded cash and was handed a bag containing $10,890. The bandits escaped by running north along Murray Street, Woodbrook, where they escaped. Sgt Valentine Millette, along with  PCS Ross, Sooklalsingh and Charles visited the scene and searched for the bandits to no avail.
