Federation mum on Charles-Fevrier

THE POSITION of Stuart Charles-Fevrier as head coach of the national men’s senior and Under-23 football teams is still unclear, a day after a report indicated that the ex-W Connection coach’s job was in jeopardy.

The executive committee of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (TTFF) held a meeting at their Dundonald Street, Port-of-Spain office yesterday but according to a source close to the TTFF, the issue will be cleared up via a press release shortly. Charles-Fevrier was appointed last May and given a three-year contract by the federation. But speculation has been rife for a number of weeks that the TTFF were in the process of terminating the St Lucian’s job and were contacting or considering other candidates for the job.
