TT hit by morning quake

AN EARLY morning earthquake with magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter Scale shook Trinidad, Tobago and as far as Grenada at 6.56 am yesterday. According to the Seismic Research Centre, the earthquake occured north of the Paria peninsula about 60 kilometres north-west of Port-of-Spain. The preliminary location for the event is 10.90 degrees north, 62.00 degrees west. Up to news time there were no reported cases of damages.
