Grateful for Chairman Mejias

THE EDITOR: On my many visits to see Councillor Patricia Mejias, the Chairman of the Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation, whether to make representations on behalf of the many organisations to which I belong or on behalf of residents who seek my assistance, I am always enarmoured by her warmth, friendship, simplicity and her million-dollar smile.

I have known Pat for many years and she has not changed. Her caring, her pro-action, her down-to-earth, unobstentatious style have all stood her in good stead. Chairman Mejias is always willing to assist; to lend advice; to guide; to ensure that your complaint is remedied. Patricia Mejias has an open-door policy and she is only too happy to see the residents of the region. Every person leaves her office quite satisfied. Pat is serving us quite well and for that we, the residents of he region, must be grateful that we have her as one of our guardians. She stands out as Chairman of the Corporation and is respected by all. Her election as Chairman is well deserved and we, residents of the region must stand behind and fully support her. She is a Chairman among Chairmen. Keep up the good work, Pat.
