Critical thinking

THE EDITOR: Shame on Rex Nettleford for highlighting his example of respect for teachers by recalling the beatings he received as a youth and moreso shame on all those teachers who were shaking their heads in agreement! The mentalities of slavery, barbarism and autocracy are certainly alive. Maybe that very forum for ‘critical thinking’ is more of what we need since everyone seemed more intent on laughing at Nettleford’s silly jokes and his showing off of his powers of the English language. How’s this for critical thinking?
