PNM breeds violence

THE EDITOR: The unprecedented level of violence in the government schools; which fanatics call “PNM schools” or “we fadda schools” and in the country has a very curious pattern with obvious reasons.

First of all the records are there to show that under every PNM rule there is always massive retrenchment, unemployment and handouts. The records also show that murders and every other type of crime increase rapidly. The records are there for all to see. Secondly, when you look at those involved in violence, criminal activities and wayward behaviours in the schools you are sure to have seen their parents or guardians in the PNM recent walkabouts in depressed areas. Prove me wrong. Ask all those violent children’s parents about their political affiliation and I am sure they will say “Aye is ah PNM tuh de bone” or “Aye is ah PNM till ah ded.” This will be followed by “Kyah, kyah, kyah ha haiii we in power!” And this is music to their representatives’ ears for that is how they want them. When people steal money it can be recovered in some form, but when people steal your manhood, your independence and your self-respect then you are naked.
