Man charged with house party murder

A man of Righteous Lane, Pinto Road in Arima, has been charged with the murder of Malabar teenager Keston Seeberan in Malabar just over a week ago. Clint David, 21, appeared before senior Arima Court Magistrate Gail Gonzales yesterday, charged with the murder of the 17-year-old youth. Seebaran was fatally stabbed on the morning of January 18, following an altercation with a group of men from a party at Malabar Branch Road, Arima.

According to reports, one of Seeberan’s friends got into a fight with the group because the friend had danced with someone else’s girlfriend. The group chased Seeberan’s friend to Koon Koon Street, Malabar, but were unable to catch him. They then turned on Seeberan and two of his other friends. All three were stabbed and Seeberan died of his injuries on the spot.
