Dark shadow over our nation

THE EDITOR: The way things are going on these days, I have no doubts in my mind that Satan is in full control of Trinidad and Tobago. Every day we pick up a Newsday or turn on the radio there is murder, mayhem, domestic violence, kidnappings, rape, child murder, riots in schools, and so on. Even ten and eighteen month old babies are not spared.

Deaf mute throat is slit, we are living in constant fear. The very people who are paid to protect and serve us are turning on us. Are we third world dogs? Where are our leaders? Why are they so silent? Why don’t the government take steps into addressing these problems, and other similar victimization or racial discrimination? Why are they not trying to unite the nation instead of divide and rule. For united we stand and divided we fall, this evil starts from the head down, and remember God is the Father of this Nation, and he shares his glory with no man. If the Prime Minister is truly born again as he says he is, then he must do the right thing and call on all religious leaders to lead the nation in seven days of prayer and fasting, to quell the rampage of the devil and to start to heal the nation.
