Attin-Johnson hits hat-trick as U-19 women swamp Anguilla

TRINIDAD and Tobago Under-19 women footballers have crushed Anguilla 5-0 in a Caribbean Football Union (CFU) World Under-19 qualifying match in Anguilla. Maylee Attin-Johnson was the star of Sunday’s match, registering a hat-trick with goals in the  32nd, 47th and 68th minutes. Jamilia Mathlin opened the scoring in the 18th minute, while Kermica Alexander got the other goal in the 60th. Second leg of the home-and-away tie will be played here at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya, Tunapuna, later this month. TT are vying for a place in the final CONCACAF qualifying tournament in Canada in April.
