Windwards win by an innings

KINGSTOWN: The Windward Islands beat injury-riddled Kenya by an innings and 26 runs late on the third day of their sixth round Carib Beer Series match at Arnos Vale yesterday. Trailing the Windward Islands by 205 runs on first innings, the Kenyans were bowled out in their second innings for 179, with both the injured Maurice Odumbe and Ravindu Shah being unable to bat. First innings wrecker Fernix Thomas Thomas took two more wickets for 44 runs yesterday for match figures of 10 for 72, which earned him the Man of the Match award.
