UWI all-inclusive the best fete

THE EDITOR: If you missed this year’s UWI’s fete in January, you are yet to experience the best of Carnival 2004! Yet again, UWI’s annual fete, the first true all-inclusive fete of the country, was the best party for the season. It has been imitated by many, but no group has come close to what the organisers of the UWI fete have been able to achieve every year. Added to that, I can hardly think of a worthier cause than the UWI Endowment Fund. Knowing that your money is going towards the future business and political leaders of our country adds even more satisfaction to the experience.

This year the organisers went beyond all expectations with excellent security, well stocked bars and a myriad of possibilities for food. I especially enjoyed the authentic East Indian food, which was a novel addition to the regular culinary delights. In all, it was a cultural extravaganza with Atlantik raising the bar as always with an exceptional performance. I would like to commend the organisers on a most enjoyable and well organised party! I will be sure to secure my ticket for next year and I encourage everyone else to do the same!
