Red Cross children’s carnival assists with $$

The proceeds from this year’s Red Cross Children’s Carnival will go towards maintaining its two ambulances and a utility vehicle which provides First Aid, assists fire victims, flood victims and the dispossessed. Part of the proceeds will also be used to finance a full programme on HIV/AIDS awareness. Donations from prominent companies this year included the Cable Company of TT who contributed $5,000, while CTC Comfort Zone delivered a Sharp TV Set and DVD Player as prizes for the show.
