Dean Knolly Clarke resigns
THE ANGLICAN church will soon have a new Dean, as current holder of the office Dean Knolly Clarke, is leaving to take up a post as Special Advisor to the Caribbean Council of Churches (CCC). Sources told Newsday Dean Clarke’s resignation takes effect from May 31. He held the post for several years and was the mediator during the 1990 attempted coup. His new position will entail travelling throughout the Caribbean. Newsday was told the Bishop of the church as well as the CCC are to host a press conference on the appointment soon.
