Leave simulated sex off TV

THE EDITOR: Wine and engage in explicit simulated sex as much as possible! That still is the main theme at the Big Stage in the Savannah where adults and innocent children have to endure ten to 12 hours of non-stop immorality on Carnival Monday and Tuesday. But what is more damaging is the undeniable fact that (television) cameramen continuously and deliberately seek out the offenders and then select from four or five different cameras the absolute worst displays of simulated sex imaginable for the final television broadcast for the world to see.

Surely with multiple cameras the joy and happiness, colour and abandon of our beloved Carnival can be captured on screen without constantly showing such disgusting displays of depravity that must have a terrible effect on the morality of our youth in particular.
