Watch your back, caricom

THE EDITOR: When I read of the outcome of the Caricom Emergency Meeting in Jamaica with the Caribbean leaders I really had to smile....Why? Because they came out with an assessment and agreement — just to save their own skin. The leaders are afraid it might happen in their own country, if they are not careful.

Listen, Aristide buss Haiti because he was afraid of his life. The rebel leaders would have assassinated him instantly. But he is so smart that he picked up his cell phone while he was escorted on the plane to Africa: “Hello, I am being kidnapped,” (to make himself not look bad). I want the Americans to invite Mr Aristide to return to Haiti. I think it is time for Trinbagonians to wake up and smell the coffee.
