Practise excellence
THE EDITOR: It was Aristotle who made the observation that “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.” We must be very selective about what we choose to do repeatedly. We as a people may become excellent at doing the wrong things instead of the right things. Let us cultivate good habits: Respect the right of our fellow person. Keep the nation clean. Study and work honestly and to the best of our ability. A simple “Good Morning,” “Good Evening,” “Good Night” and “Thank You” will fortify respect and good manners. Obey the laws... I am sure we can all add the rest...
