Motor action at Wallerfield Sunday

The Trinidad and Tobago Motor Sports Federation will host the second leg of the motor racing championship from 10 am on Sunday at the Wallerfield Raceway with something for every member of the family. On race-day Greg De Vertueil will defend his Group One title while in Group “2B” all eyes will be on Mark Singh in his 1.6 Honda Civic. In Group “2A” Tanko Baboolal and Ravi Singh in their new and upgraded Third Generation  Mazdas will face off against Gary Hunte and Daniel Ramoutarsingh.

Hunte is expected to bring  his new “Crouching Tiger” Honda Civic to the track and in his turbo charged Mitsubishi Colt MIVEC, Ramoutarsingh will hope to add some spice to the division. Ryan Garcia, in Trinidad and Tobago for the first time since his world record breaking drag runs in the United States of America, will be doing demonstration runs at the meet and organisers expect him to tear up the track and possibly look for drag challengers. There will be two six lap super races open to newcomers in Evolutions, Subarus, Skylines and Type R Super cars only in addition to which the juniors will have an opportunity to strut their stuff in the two one-lap scooter challenges on the day.
