Babwah takes 107 off queen’s park

NATIONAL middle-order batsman Shazam Babwah smashed a stroke-filled 107 as CLICO Preysal drew their third round Carib National Cricket League Division 1 match against Queen’s Park at Inshan Ali Park, Preysal. All four matches ended in drawn results yesterday. The Parkites lost one wicket, for the addition of only two runs to their overnight 470 for six, before declaring.

Preysal batsmen then treated the Parkites bowlers with scant respect with  Babwah and partner Hollister Pajotte, who scored 77 led them to 326 all out shortly before the close of play. West Indies fast bowler Mervyn Dillon followed up his first innings knock of 44 with two wickets for 84.
