Warner doubles up for Crabs

MARLON WARNER scored another double for Crab Connection to whip Aston Villa 3-1, as action in the UWI Employees Super Football League 2004 continued. This two-goal strike brings Warner’s goal harvest to four in two matches, both victories for the Crabs. The other goal in Sunday’s match at the UWI Ground, St Augustine was scored by Michael Alexis, while Adrian Nunez netted the loner for Villa. Cumuto United scored a weekend double, edging Public Enemy 2-1 with goals from Sheldon Phillip and Deosan Maxwell scoring for the winners, while Charlo Risbrooke scored for the losing team. Then the Cumuto lads whipped Islamic Research Society 4-2 with a double by Ronald Boise and further goals by Chike Carrera and Jason Sanderson. Ahmad Abdul Malick and Haniff Wilson got the Islamic goals.

In women action, Tiacho Stingrays humbled UWI Girls 6-0 with Nakeisha Charles netting four goals.  Roxanne O’Brian and Natalie Arthurton got the others. And in the Over-40 Division, TSTT dimmed Only Stars 4-0 with James Scott, Terry Jessemy, Libert “Black Boy” Duncan and Wayne Baptiste scoring one goal each.
