Abraham looks for success in Tobago
TRINIDAD and Tobago road race champ Emile Abraham will be looking for his first major triumph for the 2004 Beacon Insurance West Indies versus The World Cycling Series today. Action will take place at Market Square, Scarborough, Tobago from 2 pm with the 30-kilometre road race, the second such criterium of the series.
Abraham have undergone a tough time against the likes of fellow national Elisha Greene, Venezuelan Richard Ochoa, Englishman Johnny Norfolk and Cuban Joel Marino so far in the two-week long contest, and will be banking on the support from his fellow Tobagonians to spur him on to victory. Ochoa won the previous road race — the 40-kilometre Savannah Criterium at the Queen’s Park Savannah on March 30.
