Fire the entire WI Board

THE EDITOR: It is not Lara that should resign; it is the entire WI Board that should be fired. Surely it is obvious to all WI Cricket supporters that they just do not know what they are doing or what is needed to put WI back on the road to success. You cannot give someone reponsibility without authority and that is simply the case with our Cricket establishment. What the WI Board know about Test Cricket you can stick in your eye and not know it was there.

We should select 30 players and put them on annual contracts with strict work ethics, training schedules and pratice methods. This is their work! They either want the job and have to be told what they have to do to keep it. Having said all of that I must also remind everyone that if Thrope had been given out at 71, when he was without question out lbw, the entire match would have taken on a new complexion.

Again the case for the use of elctronic technology and the third umpire. All the West Indies supporters must “Rally around the team.” Now is not the time for destructive criticism. Now is the time for positive solutions. Now is the time when the team needs our support.
Lets look forward to the fourth Test.
