Samba Youths catch ‘Crab’ in UWI football

OCEAN VIEW Samba Youths stopped Crab Connection’s winning run with a Marcus Emmanuel lone goal, as action in the UWI Employees Super League 2004 continued. But Pioneers/Defence Force continued their winning sequence when they ripped apart UWI 4-0 in the Over-40 Division with Kevin Jeffrey scoring all four goals. And Tiacho Sting Rays also went about their winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Civilian Conservation Corp. Med Science had mixed luck on the weekend, edging El Tucuche 2-1 with a double from Stephen Peters. Andel Butcher got the lone goal for the losers. The Med Science lads had to settle for a 2-2 draw with Maloney Two Touch in their other match. Oppe Odowaa and Garvin Edwards scored for “the Medics” while Shurland Davis and Cordell Lucas got the goal for the Maloney lads.
