Condolences pour in for Tesheira

CONDOLENCES continue to pour  in to the family of ex-Trinidad and Tobago football captain Russell Tesheira. Ex-Sports Minister Manohar Ramsaran in expressing his sympathy to Tesheira’s wife Karen and three children said: “I had the opportunity to work with Russel when he was in charge of the Under-17 football team during the FIFA Under-17 World Cup Tournament. During this time we had many interactions, he was a very committed and responsible person.


“A former star of the best Trinidad and Tobago football team in my opinion and later captain, I salute the passing of another Trinidad and Tobago great.” Adding their condolences were the P&B Soccer Coaching School whose administrator/coach Michael Paul said: “We wish to extend our heartfelt condolences on the untimely passing of a long standing acquaintance of our coaching school, Mr Russell Tesheira. “Mr Tesheira’s contribution to the sporting fraternity and especially to the P&BSCS is immeasurable. “His passing will surely be a loss to our school and to the citizenry of Trinidad and Tobago as a whole.”
