North lead British Gas U-17s
MILTON DOOKERAN produced an excellent allround performance to put North at the top of the 2004 British Gas Under-17 Cricket Series standings. Dookeran dominated the match against North East to give North 32 points from their three outings. He scored an unbeaten 62 to lift his team to 239. Akiel Timothy captured four wickets for 63 runs.
Then Dookeran took three wickets for two runs as North East were bowled out for 119. Following-on, North East were routed for 62 with Dookeran snaring four wickets for ten runs for an innings and 58-run victory. Central got first innings points from their drawn match with South East who were routed for 72. Central replied with 105, but batting a second time South East reached 102 when time ran out. Meanwhile, a United States cricket team continued their impressive run in their exhibition limited overs matches with a four-wicket victory over South at the National Cricket Centre (NCC).
