Shame on NHA

THE EDITOR: I followed my daily routine and bought my newspapers Friday only to see the images of the young boy, Mathew Gunai in tears and elderly Emraz Small sitting on her couch in the hot sun as their homes were torn down by the NHA crews. I have only one question to ask the relevant authorities, “WHY?” Can the removal of these people not be done in a more humane manner?

I wonder how these Ministers and NHA authorities would feel if someone came and literally took the roof from over their heads. I say to these PNMites who choose to destroy these peoples’ lives in order to pad the marginal constituencies with cheap housing, that one day these same people will vote you out of office. So whilst TT is in Laramania ecstasy and we heap huge amounts of cash upon our sportsmen I simply ask the people of TT this question “Does our government have any conscience?”
