Kudos for Ministry’s health fair

THE EDITOR: I would like to publicly congratulate the Ministry of Health for the way in which it organised the health fair at the paddock area, Queen’s Park Savannah on Saturday April 17. The participants of the 5K got lovely medals. [It’s a pity that I did not run.] There were two booths that I really appreciated. One was the Ministry of Agriculture’s booth. You see I’ve always wanted to start a kitchen garden. I was able to collect many handouts on this subject.

The other was the booth that was run by dental nurses of the Ministry of Health. I entered their booth and was really impressed with the manner in which they communicated with the public. I noticed that children got checkups in a screened area of the booth. These workers were also quite willing to answer our questions. I was also happy to receive the dental products that were distributed. Kudos to the Ministry of Health for a good fair. Kudos to the workers of the Ministry of Agriculture. Kudos to the Dental nurses.
