Phillip manager/coach for North

NORTH have named 15 players and a manager/coach for the Courts Inter-Zone cricket series which starts today. While North have a bye, the selectors have gone ahead and named the squad for the series. North play North-East at St Mary’s College Grounds, Port-of-Spain on May 18; then clash with Tobago at Shaw Park on May 20; and come up against UWI at St Augustine on May 27.

The North players have been asked to attend a practice session at the  Queen’s Park Oval tomorrow at 4 pm. Former Trinidad and Tobago batsman Claude Phillip is the manager/coach. North team:  Ashick Ali (captain), Francis Joseph (vice-captain), Devon Charles, Gobin Maniram, Dexter Taylor, Sunil Singh, Ramesh Ramdeen, Glenroy Alexander, Devon Clement, Luke Latiff, Small De Souza, Suresh Matadin, Richard Ali, Ancil Manna, Devon Sankar, with Claude Phillip as mana-ger/coach.
