Army n-ballers still unbeaten

DEFENCE FORCE kept up their unbeaten run in the Pearl Francis Championship Division of the Port-of-Spain Netball League with a 57-42 triumph over Arima United at the Lystra Lewis Courts, Princes Building. But Soul City kept in touch with a crushing 53-35 win over Mucurapo Ex-Pupils also on Wednesday afternoon. The Ex-Pupils were also beaten in their Janet Bailey A2 Division game by NFM Uppers 40-24. Anastascia Wilson scored 34 of 48 attempts for the Army-Coast Guard women while Lystra “Twinkletoes” Zamore had 23 of 25.  National goal-shoot Janelle Barker netted 31 of 44 attempts for the Arima team, while Sophia Blackman got 11 of 15. Ann Marie Evans scored 42 of 50 attempts for Soul City and Debra Beckles got 11 of 12, while for Ex-Pupils Simone Morgan had 24 of 35 and Donna Thomas 11 of 16.
