N/E Stars out to outshine Connection

W CONNECTION can maintain their lead in the Under-14 Division with victory over North East Stars as action continues from 8.30 am today. Connection will not have an easy task at the Sangre Grande Recreation Grounds against the hosts, who earned their first win in the season last week — 1-0 over South West Drillers. Drillers, at the foot of the table without a point, will host Starworld Strikers at the Palo Seco Recreation Grounds while second-placed San Juan Jabloteh will square off against the Defence Force at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo. The Under-16 matches will follow the Under-14 encounters with Arima/Morvant Fire already secured atop the standings with a four-point gap over Jabloteh. The Fire lads are on a bye this weekend.
