Sex: Play today, pay tomorrow!

The evil nexus of eroticism — the liberal oligarchy — markets sex from an amoral, nihilistic or secular humanistic viewpoint. The upright are spurned as the miasma of society...The nefarious aim of this subculture is to employ psychological warfare to capture the psyche of the youth, and numb moral consciousness.

In Pentecostal circles, strong emphasis is generally placed upon the sanctity of sex. We have proven this to be a very effective way to inspire responsible attitudes towards sexual behaviour. It’s no secret, that irresponsible sexual conduct is the most common cause of the STDs nightmare that has been haunting planet earth for sometime now. This irresponsible attitude (which is translated into behaviour) is rooted in the disrespect for the sanctity of the divine gift of human sexuality. It is this disrespect, which results in illicit acts of sexual behaviour, such as fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism and prostitution. It is what’s at the bottom of the pornographic industry, and the rampant perversions of Hollywood.

The advocates and promoters of illicit sex, who are usually those with devious commercial interests, make it their business to target the sanctity of sexuality, intending to mock and destroy it. They market sexual intercourse as something to be viewed from an amoral, nihilistic or secular humanistic standpoint. Morality, spirituality and sanctity are supposed to be part of the philosophy of prudish nincompoops who have no appreciation for sensual liberty. The evil nexus of eroticism regards those who elect to embrace and espouse the ideals of traditional family values, and a Bible-based general value system, as part of the miasma of society.

Our message is spurned as the mischief and stereotyping of the prophets of doom, marked by over-zealous, fanatical and ominous pontificating, but the attacking only amounts to nothing but a criminal act of the perpetrators and predators, engaging callous weaponry of psychological manipulation to capture the psyche and numb moral consciousness. The nefarious aim of the liberal subculture is to desensitise and stupefy gullible, unsuspecting and vulnerable minds — especially targetting the youth, of course. When they succeed (and I can assure you they can safely boast an impressive success rate) the forbidden fruit becomes “pleasant to the eyes” (Gen 3:6) and death follows deception.

The serpent is so graceful in its motions and is often decorated in such attractive colours, that it could be quite alluring to anyone who is not enlightened about its deadly hidden fangs. In such a delusionary scenario, it’s “only natural” to regard the deadly as casual. Fiddling with danger becomes a sport. The regrettable reality though, is that after the play, comes the pain. Play today, pay tomorrow. “There is a way that seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” (Pro 16:25). Oh, how pleasurable and exciting sinful behaviour is to the flesh. What a sensation and thrill it offers the emotions.

But none of this thrill can change the spill: “The wages of sin is death...” (Rom 6:23). Such is the world of sexual lust. Encased in the bait of pleasure, is the hook of pain. Concealed in the bait of deception, is the sting of death. Really, what does it profit? What’s the gain, when a moment of pleasure returns a lifetime of pain? Play today, pay tomorrow — and an awfully high price too. We continue to give our kindness, love and care to victims of terminal STDs, particularly HIV/AIDS. This is indeed noble and godly. But if all that the sorry plight of these victims could extract from us is compassion, then the most valuable messages which their suffering communicates, would have been missed.

How many of the 40 million-plus HIV/AIDS sufferers over the globe today, are victims of lies, deception and psychological warfare, inflicted by the liberal subculture and the commercial predators? This is what must impact us whenever we encounter the pain and horror of the STD sufferer. How many of these millions of victims have been caught in the web of lust, immorality and the deception of the liberal oligarchy, all because we who know better, felt intimidated to be as assertive and aggressive as we ought to be, in imparting truth?

These are some of the questions that should pierce our consciences when we witness the pains or those who played with poison. We must also do some introspection as to whether we failed in our obligation, when we allowed ourselves to be carried away with “sympathy” and “empathy,” to the point that we refused to frankly let people know that, despite the enormous pressures to the contrary, they have a personal responsibility to discern and decipher between good and evil, basing their choices on informed and intelligent positions.

Decadent society demands this course to ensure safety. True, HIV/AIDS awareness programmes are necessary. But let’s catch ourselves and be a bit real! What greater awareness programmes do we need than the multiplied millions who are suffering and dying the most horrible deaths, everywhere around us? What else has the potential to shake us up and wake us up more than this? Let’s stop being reprobates and be responsible. Let’s stop playing and start praying!
