Also playing the fool

THE EDITOR: This is a simple question to Prime Minister Manning, after he pronounced at his party’s family day that Opposition Leader Panday was playing the fool for not lending his co-operation for laws dealing with kidnapping.

Do you think Sir, that you and the PNM were equally playing the fool for blocking and voting against the “Hanging Bill” in parliament when the then UNC Government attempted to remove minor obstacles which prevented the state from executing those convicted of murder and who had exhausted all their appeals?
