Fix yourself first

THE EDITOR: We are constantly being bombarded through the media about crime prevention by the Government, but, to quote the scriptures, they should remove the beam from their eyes first before they can remove the splinter from their brother’s eyes. For others to follow, you  have to set the proper examples by purging the police service of corrupt officers, finding out those responsible for transporting cocaine in diplomatic pouches, investigating corruption in various ministries, making all Government transactions transparent and promoting equality, dignity and respect for everyone, regardless of gender, colour, creed, race or religion, and also distributing the country’s wealth in all areas.

divide and rule politics never work good in the end. Mr PM if you listen to the words of our national anthem and try your best to live up to them, then I am certain you can turn the country around Then you can bombard us with your fix me first on the issue of crime prevention.
