Starworld out to widen lead

STARWORLD STRIKERS will be looking to maintain, or even widen their lead, in the senior division of the T&T Pro League today. The Strikers outfit, who hold a one-point advantage over both North East Stars and CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh, will square off against fifth-placed Defence Force at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo from 5 pm.

North East Stars, who received a 5-2 drubbing by Starworld last Wednesday, will host South West Drillers at the Sangre Grande Recreation Grounds at 4 pm while two other matches will be contested at 5 o’clock. At the Larry Gomes Stadium in Arima, Jabloteh will be vying for the lead when they oppose Arima/Morvant Fire while cellar-placed Tobago United meet W Connection at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, Bacolet, Tobago.
