Not This Time sizzles at Santa Rosa
NOT THIS TIME had a sizzling run over 1000 metres, as trainers sharpened up their charges for Saturday’s Arima Race Club nine-race programme at Santa Rosa Park, Arima. Owned by veteran turfite Dr Rupert Indar, the American-bred colt who is entered for the 1200 metres sprint for imported maidens, appeared to relish the sloppy track yesterday morning in returning a time of 1:02.50 seconds. Another good run over this same trip came from Gold Conveyor timed in 1:05.15 seconds. Miss Lover Lover had a bullet run over 400 metres clocking in 22.63 seconds, and opened eyes for Saturday’s feature Allowance race over 1750 metres. And Music Man and Mister Hypocrit from the Maniram “Boboy” Maharaj barn were best over 600 metres in a good 35.87 seconds.
