Where is God in all this?

THE EDITOR: I know that the Creator of the universe knows all and sees all and is able to help all, but not all are rightly related to Him. There is a way that seemeth right unto men but the end thereof is death. Their knowledge of Him stops where their religion stops, so they go on groping in darkness and when it comes down to brass tacks, they cry out to the Government in desperation. Is the Government more accessible to Him, is the Government more able than Him? They should be repenting and praying instead of marching. They forsake their own mercy by depending on the arm of flesh. It just proves the futility and vanity of our religious activity. It looks to me as though we are suffering some kind of judgment or penalty for our sins. All who have their confidence in their millions stashed away see now that they cannot even protect them just as God proved that all the Gods of Egypt were vain in the time of the plagues.

The River Nile they worshipped, which was one of their pride and joy, turned to blood. If you have a God, if you have a religion that is supposed to bring you into a vital relationship with Him, where is He when you really need Him most? How come He allows these atrocities to take place with you and your family? How long do you think you could have gotten away with your underhand dealings or your behind-the-scenes indulgences? You can be sure your sin will find you out. As the saying goes, one day one day kong-go-the, you will reap what you sow, but the Lord God of heaven does not take pleasure in the destruction of the wicked, He would rather you seek Him and find Him as you turn to Him with all your heart. A broken and contrite heart He will not despise.  So, turn to Him now for security and peace before it is too late.
