Police seize $1.1M in liquid cocaine

OVER ONE MILLION dollars worth of liquid cocaine was seized by police in San Fernando early yesterday. Police patrolling along the SS Erin Road stopped a car and after conducting a search of the vehicle found three bottles containing the narcotic in liquefied form. The value was said to be around $1.1 million. A man who was driving the car was taken into custody by the San Fernando CID and police also seized the vehicle and the liquid cocaine. The man is expected to appear before a magistrate today on a charge of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
