D/Force win North b-ball 90-56
Defence Force manhandled the Trailblazers women in their North Zone Basketball Commission League match, beating them 90-56 at the St Paul Street Multi-Purpose Facility. Nikked McSween led the Army-Coast Guard women with a game-high 22 points, three assists and nine rebounds in Wednesday night’s match. Nacany Hazzard scored 13 points, five assists and seven rebounds and Nicole Stacy Sparks added 12 points two assists and three rebounds in the Defence Force victory. Paula Ross put in 15 points and hauled down six rebounds while Jeneva Edwards had 14 and four rebounds for Trailblazers.
Dan Kelly’s Detour Shak Attack fell three short of 100 points but were easy winners over Celtics 97-86 in their First Division match. Terrance Mayers sunk a game high 27 points and also had five rebounds and three assists, Kenneth Hinds added 15 points, Lyle Worrell 14 along with six rebounds and Reynold Hospedales had 11 for Shak Attack. Celtics were led by Ronald Haynes with 22 points, six rebounds and two assists, Sheldon Christian 13 points and five boards and Kurt Christian 11 points.
