Body found in Petit Valley
WEST END Police are calling on the public for assistance in identifying the butchered body of a man found yesterday morning on a bushy area in a dirt track on Cameron Road, Diego Martin. According to information around 6.30 am yesterday a gardener stumbled upon the body bearing several chops wounds.
He contacted the police, who in turn contacted the DMO, who ordered the body removed to the Forensic Science Centre. Police believe he was killed elsewhere and the body dumped at Cameron Road. Sgt Duncan of the West End Police is investigating. The medium built, brown skinned man of East Indian descent was wearing a Levi jeans, brown belt, blue T-shirt with black and white stripes, and no shoes. The man appears to be in his late 30s. Anyone with information is asked to contact 637-4226 or 637-6002.
