North Zone coaches taking cricket back to communities
In an effort to take cricket back into the communities the North Zone Cricket Coaches Association will commence a “Cricket Coaching Caravan” today at the Pascal Recreation Ground in Maraval. Secretary of the association Winston Sobers is calling all youngsters between the ages seven-15 to come out for the next six weekends. At each of the venues over the next six weekends there will be four coaches attached and sessions begin at 9.30 am. At the end of the programme players from each community will be short listed for further coaching. Persons interested can contact Sobers at telephone number 774-0067 or 624-4577.

July 24 & 25 — Port-of-Spain - Queen’s Park Savannah.
July 31 & August 1 — Bamboo No 2 - Bamboo Recreation Ground.
August 7 & 8 - Bough Mulatresse — Bough Mulatresse Ground.
August 14 & 15 - Maracas, St. Joseph — Maracas Recreation Ground.
