Bidding goodbye to Windies

THE EDITOR: Our government and their appointed Goodbye Bid Committee have struck. We have bid Goodbye to the Windies and Brian Lara for World Cup 2007. We have also bid Goodbyes to Australia and England and the many fans who would follow them to the World Cup. Goodbye bids have also gone out to economic benefits, improved facilities, the opening ceremony, quarter finals, semi finals and the final. Goodbye also to the chance of motivating our people through world class sport.

We will now bid Goodbye to David O’Brien, Deryck Murray, Phillip Marshall, Ellis Lewis, Earl Nesbitt, Iva Gloudon and the rest of the Bid Committee. Later we will bid farewell to Manning, Boynes and Saith. Bidding you farewell for now.
