Salsa Moves shows off some steps

AFTER the buzz on Sunday morning, trainers went easy on their charges at Santa Rosa Park, Arima, yesterday. But still, the Maniram “Boboy” Maharaj pair of Salsa Moves and Java In Style showed they were in good heart in separate gallops over 400 metres. Salsa Moves showed off some fleet steps in covering the trip in 22.97 seconds, while stablemate Java In Style stopped the clock at 23.34 seconds. Another good gallop over the distance came from Ring Dang Do who was timed in 25.03 seconds.

Seductive stole the honours over 600 metres, completing the run in 38.66 seconds while another Maharaj runner, Mister Hypocrite was timed in 41.18 for a handy run. Only 22 horses came under the eyes of the Arima Race Club official timer yesterday, which was devoid of any of the “big noise.”
