Trini cricket fans came out at Lord’s

THEY came out in their numbers to support the regional cricketers.
West Indies were playing England in the First Test of the npower 2004 series at the famous Lord’s ground in London. Among the large crowd at the hallowed cricket ground were Trinidad and Tobago High Commission information attache Ashton Ford, popular TTT presenter Allyson Hennessy, prominent attorney Desmond Allum SC, ex-Trinidad and Tobago wicketkeeper Tony Lewis and calypsonian Winston “D’Alberto” Albert. But it was a disappointing first day for West Indies the supporting group, as England battered the West Indies bowlers for a total of 391 for two wickets.
