TSTT kick Alcons out East FA Trophy

TSTT came from behind to kick Malta Carib Alcons out this year’s Eastern Football Association FA Trophy series 4-3 on penalties. In the semi-final action at St Augustine Senior Comprehensive ground, CJ Marcellin Jr put Alcons ahead after 24 minutes and they held their advantage to the half-time whistle.

But midway through the final period, Kwesi Thomas grabbed the equaliser and the match ended 1-1 after regulation. Falcon Crest edged Coast Guard 1-0 in the other semi-final on a Kevin Samuel Goal at Sosconosco, Santa Cruz. The winners meet in the final at Marvin Lee Stadium, Dr Joao Havelange Centre of Excellence on August 14 from 3 pm.
