Action, not words, Mr Mayor

THE EDITOR: It was truly interesting to hear the Mayor of Port-of-Spain say that he is unhappy with vending downtown and he is calling on the vendors to show pride in our country. Two things come to mind: (1) The vendors are mainly foreigners and they do not care about our country the way our Mayor does. (2) The Mayor should stop talking and start acting to enforce his words. I hope this makes as much sense to you as it does to me.
