Coaching School face the boot

LEAGUE leaders East/West Coaching School face elimination from this year’s League Cup in the Emerald Plaza and Apartments-sponsored Eastern Football Association. At Five Rivers on Thursday last, TSTT handed Coaching School a 4-1 drubbing, with goals from Nigel Reyes, Joel Gibbons, Don Endeavour, and Marvin Lee.  Kenroy Calliste got the consolation. The teams meet in the return leg on Thursday at St Augustine Senior Comprehensive Ground from 4.15 pm, and Coaching School must win by four clear goals to advance.

Also holding a strong advantage are Malta Carib Alcons who whipped WASA Clean and White 3-1 at WASA Ground, St Joseph. Prolific Darryl Roberts found the twine twice and Aaron Mejias got the other, while Nigel Smith scored the consolation goal. Falcon Crest and Athletico Sports Institute played to a 1-1 draw at Sosconos Ground. Kwame Alexander got the goal for Falcon Crest, while Brent Quashie netted Athletico’s. Thursday’s fixtures: Malta Carib Alcons vs WASA Clean and White, at Maracas; Athletico Sports Institute vs Falcon Crest, at Aranguez Savannah; TSTT vs East/West Coaching School, at St Augustine Senior Comprehensive, 4.15 pm.
