Rushing where help is needed

THE EDITOR: I am impressed. The police in certain parts of Florida, realising that their areas were not devastated by Hurricane Charley and the people did not need much help, immediately rushed to distant areas that suffered immense destruction.Not one single thought of “jurisdiction” crossed their minds. Can our police learn from this ?
